Hello Ndi Nkem!
Yes, you read that right. My blog is 5 years old today. Ah! Can you believe it? If my blog was a human being, she will be in Nursery 3. I’m so proud of how far I have come. I started this blog during a lonely time of my life. I was in my second year of university, battling severe depression and I had nowhere to turn to. I read other blogs such as Sisiyemmie, Sugabelly, etc to pass away time. I decided to start mine as a way to document some of my feelings and to give hope to anyone who was going through the same thing as me.
Over the years, my blog has been both my outlet and my teaching tool. I have used this as a way to communicate my thoughts on various issues both in my personal life and the world around me. I have also used it to pass across information that I learned and hope others find useful. My blog has gone from having about 300 views a year, to over 2000 views a month. I can’t help but count my blessings.
In the past year, I have been able to add on a writing service to my blog, as well as a mailing list. This year, I plan to add something new. Yes, I have a special announcement that I will be sharing in my next post. So be sure to join my mailing list and subscribe to my blog, so you can be among the first people to get the news.
Overall, I feel blessed. I hope for more growth, more projects, and more joy for this blog. I also hope to continue to inspire you, my readers, and to bring happiness to anyone who comes across my posts.
